　　On April 20, the Provincial Bureau held a provincial video conference on food and drug inspection work and the first-quarter scheduling and promotion. Provincial Bureau Vice Director Xuan Qingsheng attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting conveyed the spirit of the 2018 National Food and Drug Inspection Work Conference, summarized the 2017 food and drug inspection work, analyzed the current situation and tasks facing food and drug inspection, and deployed and arranged the inspection tasks for this year. 　　In his speech, Xuan Qingsheng pointed out that in 2017, the provincial food and drug inspection system, in accordance with the deployment of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Government, and the former State Administration, adhered to the center of ensuring public food and drug safety and case handling, highlighted problem orientation, strengthened supervision and guidance, overcame difficulties, adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards violations and crimes, dealt heavy blows, severely cracked down on illegal and criminal activities in food and drugs, and guarded the food and drug safety line.

　　Xuan Qingsheng emphasized that in 2018, the provincial food and drug inspection work should focus on investigation and case handling, focusing on both physical and online battlefields, grasping the connection between administration and management, and the connection between administration and punishment, to achieve a "double increase" in the quantity and quality of investigation and case handling.
