Provincial and municipal authorities organized central media stationed in Anhui and provincial media to visit and report on the "Top Ten Anhui Medicines" industrial demonstration base.

　　Promoting the construction of the "Top Ten Anhui Medicines" industrial demonstration base is a key task identified by the provincial government in 2017 and an important part of the "Thirteenth Five-Year" plan for the development of the provincial traditional Chinese medicine industry. To ensure a good start to this work, enhance publicity, and expand its influence, from May 16th to 18th, the Provincial Bureau invited reporters from major news media organizations in Anhui Province and stationed in Anhui Province to form an interviewing team. The team visited Xuancheng, Jingde, She County, and Tongling, going deep into remote mountainous areas and fields to conduct on-site interviews of planting bases for Xuan wood melon, Polygonatum odoratum, Ganoderma lucidum, Huangshan tribute chrysanthemum, and Fengdan. Interviews were conducted with local government and food and drug regulatory authorities, enterprise leaders, and industrial base personnel on the scale and effectiveness of the "Top Ten Anhui Medicines" industrial demonstration base construction; the drug content and cultivation techniques of authentic traditional Chinese medicines; support policies, innovative measures, and major plans; as well as a comprehensive understanding of medicinal material planting plans, planting scale, planting techniques, processing, sales, and operations.

　　Next, the Provincial Bureau will organize an interviewing team to visit the "Top Ten Anhui Medicines" industrial demonstration bases in the Dabie Mountains and northern Anhui to interview and report on the Dendrobium, Poria cocos, Sanguisorba officinalis, Bozhou peony, Bozhou chrysanthemum, Platycodon grandiflorum, and Chuzhou chrysanthemum industrial bases, continuously expanding the influence and reputation of the "Top Ten Anhui Medicines".
