Provincial Bureau Launches "Food and Drug Safety Innovation Dream" Science and Technology Activity Week Series of Publicity Activities

　　From May 22nd to 28th this year, it was National Food and Drug Administration System Science and Technology Week. During the event week, the Provincial Bureau, centered on the theme of "Food and Drug Safety, Innovation and Dream Realization," adhered to the interaction between online and offline activities, enriched the content of the activities, and simultaneously launched a series of publicity activities.

　　First, showcase the achievements of scientific and technological innovation in food and drug supervision. Based on the design draft provided by the National Food and Drug Administration, exhibition boards of some innovative scientific and technological achievements of the entire system were produced and exhibited in the lobby on the first floor of Building B of the Provincial Government Building. The innovative scientific and technological achievements completed by the Provincial Food and Drug Inspection Institute—"Research and Application of Key Technologies for Rapid Detection of Hazardous Components in Food and Packaging Materials"—were also included in this exhibition. Xu Hengqiu, Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial Bureau, Deputy Director Xuan Qingsheng, and bureau staff visited the exhibition and distributed relevant publicity materials to the audience.

　　Second, create the H5 work "I Give Thumbs Up to Food and Drug Technology." Combining the Provincial Bureau's key promotion of "Smart Food and Drug Supervision," the H5 work themed "Safeguarding the Safety of the People's Palate—Mobile Law Enforcement in Action" was created. This work showcases the provincial food and drug supervision administrative law enforcement platform built and applied by the Provincial Bureau, where law enforcement officers use mobile terminals to collect and upload law enforcement data on-site, effectively improving supervision efficiency.

　　Third, carry out on-site popular science publicity on food and drug safety knowledge. The "Food and Drug Safety Knowledge Lecture Hall" was held at the Community Health Service Center of Wuliduan Street, Shushan District, Hefei City. Professor Xia Lunzhu and Director Gao Jiarong from the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were invited to give lectures to the community residents on topics such as misconceptions about medication, how to use medication rationally, and precautions for the use of common medications, and answered questions from the residents on the safe and rational use of medications on-site. At the same time, booths were set up at the event site, where our bureau's science popularization personnel conducted explanations on the rational and safe use of food, drugs, and cosmetics, health consultations and clinics, and on-site rapid detection of food safety.

　　According to incomplete statistics, during the event week, the Provincial Bureau distributed more than 2,000 copies of food and drug safety science popularization publicity materials, set up one large publicity wall and more than 30 publicity boards, conducted 20 food safety rapid testing services, received more than 200 on-site consultations from residents, and the H5 work had more than 2,000 views.
