Anhui Provincial Drug Supervision and Administration Bureau officially unveiled

　　On the morning of November 20, the newly established Anhui Provincial Drug Supervision and Administration Bureau was officially unveiled. Yang Guangrong, Vice Governor of the Provincial Government, unveiled the bureau. Han Yongsheng, Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, presided over the unveiling ceremony. Wu Lihua, member of the Party group and deputy director of the Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, and Party secretary and director of the Provincial Drug Supervision and Administration Bureau, attended the unveiling ceremony and made a statement.

　　In his speech, Yang Guangrong, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, extended his warm congratulations on the establishment of the Provincial Drug Supervision and Administration Bureau, and pointed out that the establishment of the Drug Supervision and Administration Bureau is a scientific grasp of the professionalism, particularity, and importance of drug supervision work in the new era by the Central Committee and State Council of the Communist Party of China, demonstrating special attention and concern for drug supervision work, and also reflects the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government's implementation of central decisions and deployments, steadily advancing institutional reforms, and meeting the needs of a better life for the people.

　　Yang Guangrong emphasized that the provincial drug supervision system should, firstly, enhance its political standing and resolutely comply with the overall reform. It should further establish the "four consciousnesses," strengthen the "four confidences," fully understand the importance of deepening the reform of drug supervision institutions, resolutely unify its thoughts and actions with the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and in accordance with the unified deployment and requirements of the Provincial Party Committee's deepening institutional reforms, fully implement various tasks of institutional reform, and strive to create a new situation for drug supervision. Secondly, it should strengthen its governing responsibilities and effectively shoulder its lofty mission. It should comprehensively deepen the reform of "delegating power, streamlining administration, and improving services," deeply promote the reform of the drug and medical device review and approval system, innovate supervision methods, consolidate infrastructure construction, strengthen technical support, resolutely safeguard the safety bottom line, and comprehensively improve the level of drug safety protection. Thirdly, it should adhere to strict management and strive to build a strong team. It should earnestly fulfill its "dual responsibilities," strengthen the Party building work of its organs, cadre team building, and Party conduct and integrity building, and build a people-oriented, pragmatic, and clean drug supervision team to ensure the "two safeties" of drugs and teams, and make greater contributions to meeting the needs of a better life for the people and promoting the development of the province's pharmaceutical industry.
